ABOUT

BRONWYN ESTEBAN

I collect & use traditional materials such as Japanese papers, inks, pencils & paint to create unique series of contemporary small scale drawings, etchings, prints & paintings. I currently live & work in sunny Queensland, Australia. As a practicing visual artist & printmaker, my work reflects previous training in illustration, graphic design & interior design.

I enjoy using tactile combinations & aesthetics, thought provoking concepts, colour shots, texture & motifs, to create layered storytelling through my artwork.

My intent is to promote discussion & provoke curiosity, using a diverse range of creative approaches. I hope to continue to produce small scale collections of work and be able to enjoy the daily challenge of the artists life & experience the distinctive scent of fresh printmakers ink in the studio. My artwork is currently held in both local & overseas collections.
